The Nantucket restaurant doesnt inter in to it. I was showing the small white building on the dock as the place with the divers down sign / SCUBA SUPPLIES
Im saying the site I saw , showed the Dead Fish restaurant -downstairs Had a bar upstairs & deck called The Zodiac ( it said since the 70s) IT was different than today's building.
the web site ( think it was travelocity ,or travelodge) showed 3 pics the frt of the building the restaurant seating , then looking to Vallejo off the deck and I saw the divers sign on the dock building, maybe it is still a divers store
Maybe you Sandy & Zam go there for dinner and ask of it

Interesting- the search is on.
Sure it wasn’t an ad for Zodiac Dinghey Boats?! As a lot of people used those for diving & dinghey’s for larger boats.

I title it as restaurant but the image from the 70s was the Zodiac bar, upstairs ,I think was the 2nd story part of the building This is a little Nantucket History: Dowrelio Family owned it first. Then sold it to an oil company contractor. Around 1970, The Original Nantucket was started, by some Diablo Valley Jr. College Graduate’s. Then the Harbor Owners, Ken & Jackie Craver took over. There’s was. Toots Bar in Crockett. But a Zodiac Bar?? You could call or go by ,The Dead Fish Zam I called but the only person you can talk to goes to a voice mail , and he sounds like a 25yr old , trying to explain about this quickly will not work ,plus likely he would not call back long distance The pic I saw of the deck was minimal no roof so you would be starring at the stars @ nite If it was that way and I promise that was the place, so either the post about it was off or he present young crew are un aware of this . It would be a bonus for the place in drawing more interest in it.
